Johnny Jump Up

A friend gave Elle a Johnny Jump Up when she was born and I have been waiting for her to hold her head up so that she can try it out. It was my favorite thing as an infant so I was curious if she was going to like it or not. I say this because my little girl is the only baby I know that HATES riding in the car and going for walks in her stroller!!! It is BAD! She screams in the car and Miles and I feel so bad for her. We have tried loosening the straps of the car seat, putting a blanket around the straps so they do not rub her, putting a mirror in front of her so that she can play, playing her favorite Beatles CD, etc. and NOTHING works. We are hoping she out grows this very soon because we pretty much stay at home because of it. Okay,  I am getting off track....we put her in the Johnny Jump Up and she just loved it. She didn't get the whole jumping thing down but she spun herself around and just hung out in it for a while. Here are a few pics from today.

Oh, my gosh, she is so cute! This really reminds me of you when you were Elle's age. You DID love your Johnny Jump Up. I can still picture you hanging in the doorway of Granny's kitchen when we lived in Jersey. Elle even looks like you did in these photos. I am glad she likes it and hope she gets over the car phobia soon. Maybe she likes this because she's upright instead of lying back in the car seat or stroller. Who knows! I hate to even mention it but I think the therapists at Rehab did not like JJU for babies, but I imagine it is fine as long as she is not in it for hours on end. Which I know you wouldn't do. :) I miss my sweet girl(s)!
Love you lots.
