Jetting off

Miles left this morning at 5:00 am for Chicago with his dad and brother. His mom got them all plane tickets for his dads 60th birthday. I am really excited for them...they have never been on a trip just the 3 of them so this will be very memorable.
He just called to let me know they landed safely. They are off to a Cubs game this afternoon and then are going to get settled into where they are staying. Nathan, his brother, knows someone that owns a penthouse there so they get to use it for the weekend. Not too shabby! They are going to treat their dad to a nice steak dinner tonight for his birthday. The rest of the weekend is going to be sightseeing and hanging out. I know they are going to check out Frank Lloyd Wrights houses so that should be quite a sight. Bob, their dad, is an architect and has always wanted to see his work.
Elle and I already miss him but know this will be a great trip!

Hope they have a great time! Wish I were nearby so I could help with Elle while Miles is gone.

Love your blog, Sarah & Miles! Nice to read the day-to-day happenings. Elle is so sweet & cute. She is going to be a heart-breaker in kindergarten. Hey, I'm getting ahead of myself!!
