Sleeping through the night

Elle stayed up pretty much all day yesterday. I would rock her and get her to sleep then lay her down in her crib. She loves to nap on her stomach and usually stays asleep that way for a couple of hours....but not yesterday. She would sleep for about 15 minutes and  then wake up. I let her lay there in the crib for a while to see if she would get herself back to sleep but that did not happen! The good thing was she was not fussy just AWAKE all day. She wanted to play and be entertained which is difficult with a 3 1/2 month old! But,  I did my best....we sang, played in her jumper, went for a walk (she cried for most of it :), went to the grocery store, read a couple of books, kicked and played under her play gym and then daddy came home!! I was exhausted and very happy to see him. Once we ate dinner and got her fed and bathed she seemed pretty pooped. Miles rocked her to sleep and we just crossed our fingers she would get some rest. I woke up this morning at 7:15 and I realized Elle had not woken up in the night. I went and checked on her and she was lying in her crib cooing and smiling. I love that! Happy as can be. She has slept through the night before but that only lasted a few days so we will see if this will last!
