Kiki

Saturday was a day Elle and I have been looking forward to for weeks! Elle finally got to meet Kiki...this is the name Kim Rose's nieces and nephews gave her. She is one of my oldest friends from Abilene. She lives in San Diego with her husband James and was in town for the weekend.

Elle and I went to Brian and Leya Grubbs' house in Frisco and hung out with the Grubbs clan. It was so great to see everyone. Brian and Leya have two little girls, Payton and Tyler. Payton is 3 and Tyler is a little over 1. Jennifer and Cory also were there with McKenna and Cade. It was so precious to see them all playing with Elle. They were so good with her. 

Kristen and Chris Mitchell were also there...she is 7 months pregnant with a little boy. She looks GREAT and we had a good time chatting about motherhood. We also got to see Kim McSwain who is also prego and due Christmas day. They are not finding out the sex of the baby...I find that so fun but don't have the patience to do it myself! 

Elle did great with everyone. I was a little worried about how she would do in the car ride there but she slept most of the way. Once it was time to head home she was in the middle of a huge fit brought on by being completely exhausted. Luckily she only cried for a couple of minutes and then conked out. So, it was definitely a successful trip in the car all around!
