Sex and the City

Well, I ventured out last night for my sister-in-law and friend Erin's birthday party. I joined them and 7 other girls at Studio Grill movie theatre for the opening night Sex and the City movie. We had gotten our tickets ahead of time knowing that it was going to be a mad house! And that it was! We got to the theatre an hour before the show and there were already SO many people lined up. I had never been to a theatre of this kind so I was anxious to see how it would all work (ordering food, drinks, how fast it was delivered to your seat, etc.) We finally made it in to the theatre at 7:00 and ran to find a row that had enough empty seats for all of us. We were lucky and got to all sit together. At this point we were all starving and had to wait until the waiters made their way to our row in the front. It took FOREVER but we finally ordered right before the movie started.
I am a huge Sex and the City fan so I was anxious to see how the movie would be. I really enjoyed it! There were a few scenes I could have lived without and it definitely could have been shorter, but all in all it was very entertaining!
While all of this was happening, Miles was home with Elle. I had to leave at 5:40 to get to my sister- in-laws house and the movie was not over until 10:00 so I was a little anxious to see how their night went :) Miles, of course, did a great job....got her bathed and fed and rocked her to sleep. She was sleeping when I got home and it took everything I had to not wake her and love on her. She slept until 3 a.m. and went right back to sleep after nursing. I woke up to her cooing in her bed at 7 a.m. Happy as can be! I love the mornings with her.
