13 & 14 Months Old

Well Beck, Momma's been slacking on the posting. You are keeping me quite busy these days. I can't take my eyes off of you for a second! But what fun you are at 1 years old. Sister and I can't get enough of you during the day. And daddy gets pretty pumped to wrestle with you at night. You have to be one of the happiest kids I have ever been around. You are constantly goofing off and trying to make us all laugh. Some of your usuals are throwing your head back like you are about to do a back bend, scooting your forehead on the carpet (weird!), dancing around the house, and climbing all over who ever will wrestle with you. You are ALL boy! I find you on top of the furniture daily. You are going to give me a heart attack! You are obsessed with being outside and throw a big fit if we won't let you go. You get down and dirty when playing outside. You eat fist fulls of sand from the sand box and dig in the dirt. You are constantly a mess. You're clothes aren't going to be as hand-me-down ready as Elle's were! You run everywhere and are an accident waiting to happen. No big deal to you though. You rarely cry when you fall. The park is so much fun to you now and you have no problem hanging with the big kids. You are a dare devil and go down the big slides and climb the tall climbing walls.
You love bath time and splashing with Elle. It is pretty crazy with you two at bath time! You love our walks and cuddling with Elle in the stroller. You are interested in everything you see and are always pointing. You have become a little aggressive with your golf clubs and have been wacking Elle and Nash on the head. You will hit them and then say "ouch!". Stinker! I hope this passes soon. Your newest "trick" is putting a ball on daddy's old baseball tee and hitting it with your bat. Daddy and I are amazed at how well you do this!
You still eat really well. You always let me know when you are hungry by saying "na na" over and over. Elle said the same thing, at your age, when she was hungry. You still don't talk much but always get your point across! You say momma, dada, oh (for Elle), dog, ball, and ouch. You point to your belly and nose when asked where they are. You mimic how I count to three when you want to race. You moo like a cow and roar like a lion. Roaring is your favorite. Anytime you see a bird ( mainly the peacocks in our neighborhood) you "duh" for duck.
Your blond curls are beyond adorable. I can not get over how light your hair is staying. I don't want to cut it because I am afraid the curls won't come back, so you might have shoulder length hair by your second birthday :)
You sleep like a champ finally! You sleep from 6:30-7 till 7-7:30. This is a nice change from the 5 a.m. wake time you were having! I think you are so active that you are worn out now-a-days. You are taking one nap now. it makes life a lot easier for me!
I love you more than I ever imagined I could sweet Beck! I love our cuddle time after your nap when you need some time to wake up. You make me so happy and bring so much joy to all of us.
P.s. You weighed 25 lbs when we went to the dr last week! Holy smokes!
