I'm a big girl now!

-I was looking through old photos today during E's nap and I can not get over how "big" she has become. She is a toddler and the time has flashed by me. I hate that life happens and I do not take in every sweet moment with her. I feel like I have not been the best mom since getting pregnant. I have not had a lot of energy and am more irritable than I would like. She has been so great through it all but I know she will be happy when mommy is back to herself.
Things I want to remember about my girl:
The way she will shake it and jump up and down to her favorite songs. They are usually silly pop songs that she hears on the radio. We were in Baby Gap with Gigi, Aunt Bonnie and Emery recently and a Justin Bieber song came on. She knew all the words and was dancing up a storm in the middle of the store. Already has "Bieber fever!"
-She can memorize a song before I ever figure out the words. It amazes me! And she deems songs "my song" and we have to play them over and over and over. It is a beating at times but such a funny thing about our girl.
-She puts the word "wellllll" in front of most sentences. Or "uuuummm"
-She rarely says please but always says thank you.
-She tells me "change you mommy" and "hold you" constantly. She has become more clingy since the pregnancy as well.
-She is now fearful of things when she used to be so fearless. I am thankful for this one. She will get frightened by strangers and stay close to me. She is not a fan of the swing when she used to be obsessed. Large or loud trucks driving by while we are on a walk will scare her.
- She despises bugs and now says out loud "it won't hurt you, no hurt you" to reassure herself.
-She adores her daddy more than ever. It melts my heart to watch this. Just tonight I was watching them swim through a window. He truly enjoys every minute with that little girl. I never see him get upset with her or short tempered. I wish I could be more like him. He is an amazing daddy!
-She tells me "you messy!" when she sees my closet.
-She begs me to find sprinklers when we are on walks so she can get wet.
-She tells Nash "No Nash!" and "Stop that!" all of the time. I must say it way too much! Poor Nash!
-Her memory is insane to me. She knows the route to all of our favorite places. She remembers where the last place we saw Charley was and still talks about him every day.
-When we are driving around she will say "mommy yook" and I will look back and she is making funny faces to make me laugh!
-She sks me about Beck being in my tummy daily. She asks daddy if he is in his belly too :)
- She can not go more than a day without asking to see her BFF Miles. She even woke up at 1 a.m. recently asking to see Miles, Candace and Charlie! We are so lucky she has such a sweet friend in Miles.
-She is a water baby and asks to be in "big pool" or "my pool" everyday.
-When she wakes in the morning she says "mommy I want banana and milk" EVERY MORNING!!
-If she doesn't want her diaper changes she says "no mommy, it's good...my diaper is good"
-_ most days I do not shower till her nap so when I go in her room after nap and am dressed, she will tell me I look like a princess. Makes my heart smile. She loves to say "you cute mommy!"
-when she sees a little puppy or kitty cat she will say "he was pretty cute mommy!" and talk about it all day "pretty cute huh?"
-When driving down the road recently, she pointed and said "cool house!" Miles and I laughed so hard. She must be picking up on our house talk. She has also said "nice space" when referring to a bathroom! WHAT?
- Playing dress up is her favorite past time. She puts on my old tutus, jazz sequins and her cat ears and runs around the house.
- She wants her baby "Molly" or "Kate" with her at all times. Along with their carrier or bouncy seat.

I love all these sweet memories and am happy that I got to witness many of them first hand when I was there! I still laugh to myself when I picture her singing "Giving up the Gun." I especially like her comments about the "cool house" and "nice space." Maybe she will join the family business one day. :) She definitely already has style. xoxoxo
