Cool mornings
We had a great weekend with the entire Durham family. We cruised up to Beaver Bend park in Oklahoma on Saturday morning with Nina and Nathan. It was about a 3 1/2 hour drive and I was positive Elle would sleep at least half of the way. Oh no! She slept for a whopping 10 minutes and then was just happy as can be the rest of the way. We arrived and met up with Bob, Suanne and Evelyn. I thought it would be best to put Elle down for a nap but she wouldn't have it. She wanted to be part of all of the action. We went to the other cabins and met up with the rest of the family. Most had not met Elle yet so they were all very excited to see her. Ally gravitated to her right away and was so precious with her. She is Miles' cousin, Sara Beth's daughter. She is 11 going on 30! What a sweet and RESPONSIBLE little girl she is! She was Elle's best friend the entire trip.

Elle finally crashed around 7:30 in Miles' cousins cabin. We ate some great burgers and visited until about 10:00.I tried to move E to the car without waking her but she was ready to see everyone again! We took her back to our cabin and she played until she conked out in her crib. Sweet baby!
This morning we had breakfast with the family and then headed out. It was a great trip but way too short. We look forward to next year!

Love your music while reading and ooohing & aaahing at all the pics of one of my very favorite greats! Your pics are spectacular as I get to see how you all are doing and growing. It's like being with you.
