Beck is becoming such a big boy! He is very much a toddler and less of a baby. Part of me is sad but the other part is so excited to see him grow into a little boy. He is talking up a storm so life is getting easier in that respect. He says ball, baby, mama, daddy, Elle, dog, nana, pa, Gigi, sissy, elephant, up, down, done, side(for outside), wawa, apple, apple sause, cheese, eyes, bath, baseball, choo choo, duck, cow, bear, mine, and I am sure I am forgetting some. He says the animal sounds for lion, tiger, lamb, monkey, duck and cow. He is always vroom vrooming around the house with his choo's choo's and trucks. He loves to swim at Mimi's and play with his water table. He runs everywhere and is always bonking his head or legs on something. He loves sports and will sit with daddy and watch golf and baseball. He loves to hit the ball off the tee and kick the soccer ball. You can find him most days with a headband around his neck or a purse on his arm. Sister is rubbing off on him!
We have just started trying to put him time out. He is a hitter ( only with sister) and throws things at sister a lot. He doesn't seem to get it but we are going to stick with it. He is so darn cute that it is hard not to giggle when he is looking at us from time out. I tell him to look at my eyes when I'm talking to him and he points to my eyes and wants to play. It's hard to be serious! He is a toot but such a sweetie pie. He cuddles and loves to give kisses.
He is so easy to take places because he could care less if I drop him off somewhere new. He says "bye" to me when I drop him off at the gym or church. He is very independent and will play alone. It is so nice to see he can occupy himself :) We really have to watch him at the playground though! He just takes off and does his own thing.
He LOVES his daddy! He asks for him all day long. He gets so excited when he sees him throughout the day. They are buds.
He has stayed the night a few times recently at Mimi and Pa's and has done great. He loves going to see them. He starts saying "mama" the moment he recognizes our route to their house. He can't quite say Mimi so she is "mama" too :) Nana keeps him once a week while Elle and I go to art class. He loves this time with her! I love to see their sweet relationship.
We love you Brother Bear! You bring so much fun and laughter to our house.
These pictures are poor quality but I only seem to have phone or iPad pictures these days. So sad!
