My sweet Grandmother

My sweet Grandmother went to be with Jesus yesterday morning. She is walking hand and hand with my Granddad right now and so very happy. It has been 19 years since they have seen each other so I am sure it was quite a reunion. We are going to miss her so much but are a peace knowing she is out of pain and in an amazing place.
We grew up in the same town as Grandmother (my dad's mom). A lot of my memories growing up include her. We were at her house a lot since my mom and dad both worked. I remember her waking up super early and making us toast with jelly. We would sit and talk at the table about what we would do that day. She would paint our nails better than anyone else! She made the best fried chicken and mashed potatoes and spaghetti with corn bread. Her desserts were to die for too! Bonnie, Susan and I would play for hours in the garage which was kind of a play room. We would draw on the paper Granddad brought home from work and play school.
During the holidays her house was the place to be. We would all gather there on Christmas Eve for Granddads birthday. These were the best times. Grandmother had 4 kids and they all had kids so it was crammed in her tiny house but we never thought twice about it. My cousins and I were really close and love to play at Grandmothers house. It was there we would talk about boys, our sisters pestering us :) and so on.
She was an amazing lady! I will miss her so much and can not wait to see her again some day! Love you Grandmother!

At my wedding- many more have been added to the family since then!
