Elle is coming up on her two year birthday and I understand the saying "terrible two's" a little better today! She was such a toot this morning. She usually is so excited to go to school and will say "Majors, Emma, school, bubbles" with such enthusiasm. Not this morning! I told her she was going to school today and she started frantically saying "No school, No school!!" She threw herself on the floor, kicked as hard as I have ever seen her kick and was SCREAMING! What in the world. It continued when I tried to put on her shoes...more kicking to the point I could no longer hold her in my lap. Then it came time for her jacket "No jacket!" I gave up on that one and had to literally drag her to the car. I am honestly sore from wrestling with my 31 pound baby this morning! Please someone tell me this is normal :)

Normal. Spirited baby wants to be in charge of her own life. :) This, too, will pass. She wants to be independent but doesn't know how to tell you in words. Love y'all. xoxox
That's great! Wish there could have been someone there to record it! Love you and that "spirited" baby!
Your Aunt Kathi used to do the same thing! So must run in the family! We all survived. This, too, will pass!
ME? I was the good one! :) Yeah,I agree- it's normal- although I would wonder if maybe something happened last time she was at school that made her not want to go this time. Little ones remember better than we think they do. Is another kid picking on her-taking toys or something like that? Or she might just want to stay with Mommy. It's hard to tell! Abram has started getting mad when people stare at him. Strangers will come up and tell him he's got beautiful eyes or curly hair, and he'll say, "Stop looking at me!" Or, "Mommy, make them stop looking at me!" Rachel has her hands full... :)
