My friend Carrie came to visit last week from Fort Collins, Co. Miles and I met Carrie about 6 years ago while living in Fort Collins. We were attending Colorado State and both working to support ourselves through school. I worked at a popular restaurant/bar in Old Town and Miles worked at the local hardware store. Carrie worked at the same restaurant but I was leaving to work at a clothing boutique as she was just starting. We were acquaintances then but got to know each other through our mutual friend Corrina later. She is that friend that is always so positive and so completely REAL! I love her honesty and love for life. She married a very good friend of ours, Ryan or "Benson" to us. They are so perfect for each other and are always the life of the party!
Elle and I were so fortunate to have her to ourselves for 3 days. We played A LOT! Carrie was wonderful with E and E was just as fond of "Cawee"! There was no pressure to show her the big city or take her out. She was happy as can be hanging at home and having home cooked meals. Love that about her! We miss you Carrie and can't wait to see you again! Hopefully it is in Maui we meet next :)
