K2, the company Miles works for, was a sponsor for the 2009 Rise and Shine 5k run. It benefits the Rise School of Dallas, a nationally recognized preschool specializing in the development and education of children, from ages six months to six years, with Down syndrome and other disabilities. All proceeds go directly to benefit the children who attend the school.
Elle and I wanted to see what it was all about so we went to the park around 1:00. Daddy was working hard at the K2 booth making lots of yummy craw fish. There was so many fun things going on for the kiddos. Bouncy houses, a petting zoo, a large play ground with lots of swings (Elle's favorite), clowns, music....the list goes on and on. Elle did great but was pooped by 3:00 so we headed out and she went down for a nap! It made for a great Sunday!
