Elle and I spent the morning in bed watching all of the news footage on Barack Obama's inauguration. We ate in bed and played while watching all of the events leading up to his speech.
I usually keep my political views to myself but this morning I feel so proud to be an American! I am ecstatic about our countries decision to make Barack Obama our next president. It gives me so much hope for our future. I become emotional when I think about what opportunities Elle will have in her lifetime and how this will, hopefully, bring us closer to true equality! Wouldn't that just be amazing! This is definitely a huge step in that direction!!
Speaking of, Obama is about speek so I am off to witness history!

i found your blog through laura and have to say that YEAH!!! WE TOOOOO are soooo excited about OBAMA!!! I can not say how excited and proud we are as well!!! So often we feel that we have to refrain in the great republican state of TX but so nice to find an OBAMA supporter!!! looks like you guys are doing great and Elle is precious!
