So, Elle is now on antibiotics and we are no longer using those TOXIC eye drops :)

Stop staring already!!
Elle and I went to the grocery store last night and you should have seen the looks we got! You know how the lights in a grocery store are super florescent and you can see every little imperfection on your face? Well, try looking at your sweet baby with pink eye in that light! Uhhh, not pretty! Especially b/c we just found out that the reason her whole face has a rash on it is b/c she had a reaction to the eye drops :( So, she is swollen and red. I really wanted to scream out that she was sick and to stop staring at us!! I seriously almost burst into tears when I finally got to the car. I know...pretty pathetic!

Oh, I cannot believe the drops made it worse. That is terrible! Sorry people were staring. They thought you were abusing your poor little baby. :) Hope it gets cleared up soon. Kisses from Gigi.
I cannot believe she has a rash now from the drops! Poor baby. We've been keeping up via web since I've had the "crud" and now mom has it. Such wonderful videos of her walking - I have videos of Miles' 1st steps too...somewhere. Kiss my girl! love grammi
Oh, Sarah and Elle, I am so sorry--yes people are thoughtless. I remember when J was little and had on his bifocals and this woman in the store said, "oh, poor little baby having to wear those ugly glasses." I said, "Well, we think seeing good is better than looking good, so he's a happy baby that he can see now."
Love to you both, and kiss to Elle and she will soon be better. Kiss to you, too, awesome mom!
You'll have to get her some sun glasses! It should clear up soon. It must have been hard with people staring.
Yeah, people are jerks! Ryan used to have to wear a patch on his eye, and sometimes others would say the most ridiculous things. Trying to be funny, they'd call him a "little pirate." Of course he didn't care, but I'd get so tired of hearing it. Then there were those who just stared as if they wanted to ask me if I'd punched him in the eye...aiyiyi. I hope Elle's eye and rash are better very soon. I woke up this morning with my eye hurting as if I'm getting a sty. What's with all the eye trouble right now??? And Elle is adorable no matter what!!
Next time someone stares, stop and ask the starers if they want a punch in the eye to match the babys eye.
