8 months old

Oh My Gosh where does time go? Every time I sit down to write about yet another month , I feel as if I have just written about the month before. 

My sweet girl is at such a great age! I L-O-V-E our time together and am trying to store all of the hilarious things she does in my brain to remember forever! Here are the newest things E has accomplished and just random funnies that I treasure!

1. You are "slithering" around like a little snake. You know how to crawl but would rather not at this stage!

2. You are pulling up on everything and bonking that little head of yours on a daily basis. I try to stay close by to make sure you do not fall but you always seem to anyway.

3. You are a HAM! You love for people to look at you and smile. If they do not give you their attention, you demand it by "lalalala-ing" very loud or fake coughing :) We were in the grocery store last week and you were sitting in the cart while I was checking out. The lady behind us in line was reading a tabloid magazine, minding her own business. You did not appreciate the fact that you had been smiling at her (and only her) for a good five minutes and she was not giving you one look. You started coughing and that did not work. So, the next thing I hear is what sounded like a word resembling "hi" come out of your mouth and the lady looked up and said "well HI". You were satisfied at that point and went on playing with your toy!

4. You are saying "Dada" and boy does daddy love that! You wake up saying it and don't stop until bed time. You definitely are daddy's girl!

5. Meals have become more fun and messy. You are experimenting with touching it all and you are eating much of what mommy and daddy eat. 

6. Dancing is one of your favorite pass times! Anytime you hear music or push musical buttons on your toys, you bounce up and down. It is precious! I can tell you are going to be my little rock-n-roll baby!

7. Your favorite place to be is outside. When the wind blows you take a big gasp and smile so big. You close your eyes and just take it in. It is so amazing to watch you enjoy such simple things. You also love to sit in the grass and pull it out of the ground. You could do it all day if I let you. 

8. Swinging is a new found love of yours. We go to the park all of the time now and finally gave in and bought you your own swing to hang from the the tree. Daddy is going to hook it up today!

9. You actually sit still when I read to you now and help me turn the pages. 

10. You have two teeth and are trying to cut more :(

 

Elle, you have totally exceeded every expectation I had of you when you were in my tummy. I would day dream all of the time about what I hoped you would be like. You are so much fun and have such an amazing personality! You are so happy yet so very demanding at times. But that is what makes you you! Daddy and I laugh at how you demand us to do things and we just do it. We wouldn't have it any other way! We love you sweet girl and are so glad you are ours.
